Dark Souls Artorias of the Abyss DLC Dated For PS3 and Xbox 360

September 19, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

The DLC for Dark Souls has been dated for release next month.

Dark Souls

Namco Bandai has announced that the Artorias of the Abyss DLC for Dark Souls is set for release in October on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The DLC offers all the content currently available in the PC version of Dark Souls, which has been out for a few weeks.

The Artorias of the Abyss DLC is described as a mini-expansion and includes new bosses, a host of new weapons, and locations for players to adventure in.

Additionally, it comes with what the developer is calling “enhanced multiplayer PVP” which adds a matchmaking system that presumably improves upon the game’s previously existent invasion system.

It’ll be available for $10 on PSN and 800 MSP on Xbox Live on October 24.

Those who’ve picked up the PC version of the game, which is titled the “Prepare to Die Edition” will already have access to the content.
