Ubisoft has released the fourth episode of their documentary detailing the development (that’s an alliteration, if you didn’t notice) of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3, which is set in Revolutionary-era United States, away from the European setting of the previous games in the series.
This episode of their Inside Assassin’s Creed 3 documentary is the fourth and final part, and casts a spotlight on the land in which the game is set: America. Titled “America, by Land and Sea”, viewers are invited to get a glimpse of the America of Assassin’s Creed 3 ranging from the bustling cities of Boston and New York and to the far reaches of the American frontier and the vast open seas.
The documentary also details the game’s dynamic weather system, which allows the developers to remodel each environment in the four seasons of the year. Viewers will also get an understanding of the game’s crowd and animal AI, which are more intelligent than ever before.
Assassin’s Creed 3 is set for an October 30 release on the Xbox 360 and PS3. It’s set for a November 18 release on the PC. The game will be accompanied by the release of Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation, a standalone title for the PS Vita.
