Many gamers still fondly remember the days of the Nintendo 64's Goldeneye game, while others may remember the more recent attempt to recapture that magic in the form of the 2010 game Goldeneye 007. You might even remember everyone's favorite, Oddjob appearing in Goldeneye. Well, just in case you've been missing him, he'll be making an appearance in the new 007 Legends game.
The classic movie Goldfinger has been announced by Activision as the fifth movie in the 007 Legends series. Despite the movie's popularity, it has not appeared in any recent games until now. As you might recall, 007 Legends features an overarching storyline to tie all the games together which follows James Bond (in the guise of current Bond actor Daniel Craig) from his early spy days to the culmination of his legendary status. And then you can play the game over again from the "bad guys" perspective.
The storyline for the Goldfinger mission is, of course, similar to the movie's: "James Bond uncovers an evil plot to contaminate the Fort Knox gold reserve. In order to thwart the plot, Bond takes action to infiltrate Goldfinger’s headquarters with help from a questionable acquaintance – Pussy Galore." The first person shooter will be coming out October 16th for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Be sure to check out the trailer for Goldfinger below.
