Popular team based MOBA Battlerite will be receiving a new champion, it has emerged. Coming this February 15, developer Stunlock Studio is adding a flexible melee character called ‘Raigon’ with skills in both two-handed swordsmanship and the martial arts domain. Raigon, also known as The Exiled Prince, sports a gigantic over-the-shoulder sword and a charming blue sash.
Battlerite earned a coveted spot in Steam’s global top sellers last year following its free timed event. Stunlock Studios has also revealed a partnership with Twitch and Beyond The Summit for ‘Enter The Arena’, the biggest Battlerite tournament to date. The event will take place in both Europe and North America and boasts a total prize pool of a cool $10,000 USD. Those interested in signing up can do so here – a minimum of three players is required for a team to enter.
