2D Metroidvania Toy Odyssey: The Lost and Found originally released in 2016 for Steam and Xbox One, but now PS4 owners will also be able to experience the classic action figure experience starring Brand, a toy that’s come to life.
Inspired by classic games, Toy Odyssey: The Lost and Found boasts detailed art, hundreds of weapon upgrades, over 300 enemies, and procedural level generation to keep gameplay fresh. President of Digital Smash David Klein says being able to support an ‘indie gem’ like Toy Odyssey make the leap to PlayStation 4 is an exciting venture:
“When we began working with Hiker Games, we became excited at the prospect of releasing Toy Odyssey to the western market…This is a title we think will resonate gamers of all ages and backgrounds, and thus, we can’t wait to see it flourish on the PS4, to open up a much wider audience than ever before”
Toy Odyssey: The Lost and Found is slated for release this February 14 (Valentine’s Day), launching with a slight discount at $13.49 USD.
