I’m not sure what’s more uncomfortable about the above gameplay trailer, that it spends five minutes explicitly demystifying the first leg of the DLC campaign, or that it’s narrated with the kind of blithely enthusiastic “I don’t know what I’m marketing” guy of infomercials and Disney movies.
Anyway, for those into such things (Tom Clancy games, I mean, not infomercials and Disney movies– although if there’s a crossover in demographic there, please don’t tell me about it), the Raven Strike DLC is available now on XBL and PSN. The DLC presents itself as “a throwback to traditional Ghost Recon gameplay” (because nothing inspires confidence in your DLC like using the word “throwback” in a press release), featuring large maps, “complex” missons and high difficulty. The full content of the DLC consists of:
- 3 new missions in Campaign Mode
- 1 new map in Guerrilla Mode
- New achievements
- Level cap increase of +10
The DLC is presently available for 1200 MS points on Xbox Live or $14.99 on Playstation Network. A Windows PC release is scheduled for “a later date.” Visit the official website for more.
