Nintendo has announced that early adopters of Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 will be eligible to earn an exceedingly rare Pokemon called the Genesect. The first Pokemon Black & White offered Victini to early adopters.
Players who pick up the game early and connect through Nintendo WiFi within the month of the game’s launch will be able to download the creature for free.
In addition to offering unique Pokemon, both Black and White versions of the game come packed with a special dungeon—Black Tower and White Treehollow—both of which offer randomly generated layouts each time the player enters.
Pictured above, Genesect is described as a Bug and Steel type Pokemon which has its own signature move called Techno Blast. Interestingly enough, the power of its special move can be tweaked according to the opponents he faces, allowing players to severely weaken enemy monsters they intend to capture without knocking them out completely.
Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 will be out on October 7 for the Nintendo DS and 3DS handhelds. The offer will no longer be available beyond November 12, so be sure to pick it up as soon as you can.
