For Honor is a highly anticipated video game release from developers Ubisoft. This upcoming title pits three factions, Vikings, Samurai, and Knights, against one another in a massive combat showdown. While fans are eagerly waiting to get their hands on a copy of the video game, some lucky gamers were able to enjoy a closed beta of the title.
There have been talks of an open beta for the video game, but the details surrounding the upcoming open beta was yet to be unveiled. That is until Twitch sent out an email giving up the open beta dates to gamers online.
The news regarding the open beta was reported by Gamerant which detailed the open beta email that also highlights Twitch Prime. It seems that, if this email proves to be accurate, For Honor’s open beta will begin on February 9, 2017, and will last until February 12, 2017.
As mentioned, the email also highlights Twitch Prime, a subscription-based service that also offers exclusive game content each month. It seems that Twitch Prime will unlock DLC for For Honor, though again, it remains to be seen if these details and statements are accurate as the development studio, Ubisoft has yet to make any statement regarding the open beta.
Gamers can pick up For Honor officially starting this February 14, 2017, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
