In the video above, indie game developer Lukewarm Media show off two new classes for their upcoming title, Primal Carnage, a class-based competitive multiplayer game in which humans and dinosaurs duke it out for supremacy, and for a meaty lunch.
Primal Carnage pits teams of four humans against an equal-numbered team of dinosaurs, and either team possesses its own distinct set of classes to suit a variety of styles.
The video demonstrates the gameplay styles of both the human Trapper and dinosaur Raptor class, with each their own special abilities. The Trapper is proficient in, well, trapping things, using a netgun that can be released to capture enemy dinos. The Trapper also comes equipped with a hunting knife and dual-wield pistols. The raptor, quite aptly, excels in speed and agility.
Primal Carnage is set for release sometime in the Fall on PC. While Lukewarm has only confirmed the existence of a Team Deathmatch mode, the official website vows to bring open environments with a variety of game modes, as well as some eventual DLC.
