Halo fan Nexy (who’s a part of the Halo Council fansite) has put together a new video of Halo 4 showcasing one of the game’s multiplayer modes.
The video, which was recorded at PAX 2012 a couple of days ago, showcases Halo 4’s Free-For-All deathmatch mode, which pits every player in the game in a race to earn the most kills before the end of the round. It’s every man for himself in FFA, and Nexy appears to come out on top.
The video gives us a good look at the game’s Light Rifle weapon, which Nexy equips to take out his foes. He al so does so with the aid of the Hologram device, which allows him to project an image of himself on the battleground as a decoy to give enemies something else to shoot at beside him.
The Hologram in Halo 4 works identically to the one Arnold Schwarzenegger uses in the original Total Recall movie, and provides players with an interesting tactic to use before entering pitched combat.
Halo 4 will be out on November 6. The game is exclusive to the Xbox 360.
