If you've seen anything of the Forward Unto Dawn miniseries for Halo 4 you'll know that it's heavy on the philosophical matters of young people being sent off to fight and die in a war.
The latest episode—a short segment focusing on what it's like to be put under cryosleep—is no different in tone from the rest of the show.
The episode shows two military students at the Corbulo Academy confiding to each other what it's like to be put under cryosleep, which appears to be a commonplace practice in the science-fiction Halo setting.
The blonde enlistee in the episode describes cryosleep as "like dying, and then waking up again." It's a haunting thought, to be certain, though other sleepers apparently have strange dreams while they're in there.
The Forward Unto Dawn series is set to run until the release of Halo 4 on the Xbox 360 this November 6th. In addition to being viewable on the web, the entire series will be released as part of the game's special editions.
