"Borderlands 2 is Borderlands 1 on steroids," begins the latest trailer released by 2KGames and developers Gearbox Studios.
The new trailer aims to showcase the artwork of Borderlands 2, which studio unveiled as a gigantic mural at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany recently.
The entire mural, which was based on an in-game screenshot of Borderlands 2, was painstakingly put together by hand with the use of spraypaint and paintbrushes. The artwork depicts all of the game's characters and a few of their adversaries—along with everything that makes the game interestingk, like the guns.
You can see how they put the mural together in the trailer above.
The studio is giving fans and would-be art connoisseurs a chance to win a piece of the art from aworkofart.eu. It's pretty, but it feels like it'd be a great shame to cut it up.
Borderlands 2 will be out on September 18 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
