Ubisoft has released the packaging blueprint for the… well, packaging it plans to use for the Assassin's Creed 3 Ubiworkshop Edition box. In case you're wondering, Ubisoft releases special "Ubiworkshop" editions of many of its games—especially those in the Assassin's Creed franchise.
Previous Ubiworkshop Edition titles in the Assassin's Creed series included the a version of the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia, novels, and other goodies.
Ubisoft has revealed that the contents of the Assassin's Creed 3 Ubiworkshop Edition will include a copy of the game, the Second Edition of the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia in hardcover, and the Subject 4 novel. Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game are region-free. It should be noted that the contents of this version differ from both the Limited Edition and the Collector's Edition of Assassin's Creed 3, which include in-game content unavailable anywhere else.
The company has yet to announced whether the Ubiworkshop Edition of Assassin's Creed 3 will include any exclusive in-game content, but they've hinted that "something great is coming" and that this version of the game will be "legendary".
