Minecraft's lead developer Jens "Jeb" Bergernstern has posted some fresh new details about an upcoming feature which adds decorative blocks into the world of Minecraft.
These decorative blocks can adorn a wide variety of wall surfaces and be used to spruce up your architecture, which remain otherwise threadbare in the current, and all previous versions of the game.
While Bergernstern has yet to reveal the full array of decorative blocks he and the rest of his team at Mojang plan to add into Minecraft, he has released a screenshot of at least one of them—gray skulls in a niche built into the wall.
It might seem creepy, but we wouldn't be surprised if the decorative blocks included Creeper heads to mount above a fireplace, or variations with decorative blocks, by allowing players to place them on stairs, slabs, and fences.
I can't wait to build my throne of skulls, assuming they make it possible. Skulls for the Skull Throne!
