Mark of the Ninja followed up by Dont Starve

August 27, 2012 by Patricia Hernandez

Check out the new game by Klei Entertainment

Where do you go after you develop a side-scrolling stealth action game where you star as a ninja? Why, you make an "uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic," of course.

The developers behind The Mark of the Ninja–which hasn't released yet–are starting promotions on their latest game, called "Don't Starve." The video shows some humorous rules we can expect to abide to once the title drops, like not talking to strangers (ie, enemies) and to not go out at night. Okay well, you can probably expect to go out at night–the video is just trying to be funny.

Those that are enticed by the charming art style and the premise of the game should look to participate in the game's early-access beta. Plopping down $6.99 will get you in, as well as a friend–you get two keys for Steam. Fantastic.

No current release date is known for Don't Starve. Mark of the Ninja, on the other hand, drops on September 7th. It's probably not outlandish to assume that Don't Starve will release after Mark of the Ninja, if we were to make an educated guess.
