Writer Joe Carnahan, who is writing the Uncharted movie for Sony, has just finished the script. Writing on Instagram, he said, “Done and dusted. Now the REAL work begins.”
Carnahan has said that the script is more “monstrously cool” than anything else out there in Hollywood and that it’s going to blow the audience away while sharing this image of the front page:
“If there’s a more monstrously cool action script in Hollywood right now, I wanna read it, ‘cuz this thing is a BEAST.”
Last year, Carnahan said the movie is the “anti-Indiana Jones,” which ignited some engagement because the uncharted series plays like an Indiana Jones game would.
Amy Hennig, who worked on the Uncharted video game series before moving on to EA, congratulated Carnahan on Twitter for completing the script.
Damn, with that much confidence on this script, one can only wish that it delivers to the hype.
