It seems Nintendo is finally ready to let the world know how much the Wii U will cost and when it will be released. Mind you, this wasn't offiicially stated by the company; but they are sending out press invites for a "major" Wii U event in New York this September that promises people will "learn more about how the Wii U will change the future of gaming and entertainment."
The event will be hosted by none other than Reggie "Reggienator" Fils-Aime and seeing as the last time Reggie took the stage in New York, he revealed the 3DS' price and launch date. So chances are very high that this is indeed the same case here.
The Nintendo Wii U event in New York will take place on September 18. So, mark that on your calendars, folks, as that's most likely going to be the date you'll start complaining how expensive or affordable the Wii U is.
