Recently, Microsoft announced that a free title would end the year but, have included an update of 6 new games backwards compatible.
Larry Hyrb of Xbox has confirmed that six new Xbox One Backwards Compatibility games have been made available in the last 24 hours. However, he confirmed that those 6 titles will be the last for the year…
“Before Xbox One Backward Compatibility team takes some time off for holidays, we have 6 new releases today. Releases resume after New Year,” Hyrb announced on his official Twitter account.
The titles are Skydive, Planets Under Attack, CLANNAD, Bully Scholarship Edition, Catherine and Raskulls. CLANNAD is playable only in Japan.
Over the past couple of months, the backward compatibility program has been very busy porting games onto the Xbox One. Recently some of the most requested titles have already been ported such as Xbox 360 versions BioShock, Bioshock 2 and BioShock Infinite.
Some speculate that port delays occurred to give devs more time to work on the development of the BioShock Remastered Collection.
In celebration of the anniversary of Xbox One Backwards Compatibility, Microsoft has also made classic Xbox 360 RPG Lost Odyssey downloadable for free until the end of December.
