Sleeping Dogs will be out tomorrow, and while the game is anticipated to have over a dozen hours in storyline content and many more hours for side-quests and optional missions, its developers at United Front Games and Square Enix London Studios aren't content to let Sleeping Dogs lie past its release.
The studio has announced plans to release six months worth of additional content, to be released digitally as DLCs. Needless to say, they plan on supporting the game in a very big way.
"We want to create something to suit everyone's play style from cool cars and high-speed missions to outlandish outfits and game-extending mission packs," said Lee Singleton, General Manager at Square Enix London Studios. "The game launch is just the beginning."
In addition to the planned DLCs, the Square Enix will offer downloads at launch to help players get a head start in the game, including the 80s-inspired Retro Triad Pack. Further packs will be released in September and beyond, including a SWAT Pack and a high-speed Racing Pack, details of which have yet to be disclosed.
