DICE rolled out an update yesterday for Battlefield 3's Battlelog stat-tracking site; and with it, they've also added in the option to let players customize their loadouts straight from their browser.
This is applicable for all four classes and for all three platforms the game's on. In addition, you can now easily go to a friend or enemy's profile, click on their loadout tab and copy their loadouts to make it your own. This is perfect for those who want to see what loadouts the top players are using.
Battlelog developer Indigownd had this to say regarding this new feature:
If you find yourself getting owned repeatedly by an enemy, you can now go to his profile on Battlelog and check what equipment he/she uses — and copy it to your loadout with a simple click.
Coming from a competitive gaming background, I know what it means to play on unranked servers where available unlocks are decided by the server admin. So if you plan on playing on an unranked server you’ll still be able to set weapons and equipment you normally wouldn’t have access to on a ranked server.
Not bad, no? Now, we only need Battlecorder implemented and everything should be peachy.
Have you tried this yet? If you keep on dying at the hands of an enemy, why not try his loadout? The update has since gone live early this morning so you can try it out now.
