With the Penny Arcade Expo less than a month away, the details on amazing panels are beginning to surface. The latest is "Behind the Music of Blockbuster Video Games," a collection of four award-winning composers discussing their experiences, processes and what it's like to create music for AAA titles.
The panel will include Jesper Kyd (Darksiders II, Borderlands 2, Assassin's Creed I, II, Brotherhood, Revelations, Hitman 1-4), Michael McCann (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Splinter Cell: Double Agent), Inon Zur (Dragon Age I and II, Prince of Persia, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, RIFT), and Sam Hulick (Mass Effect 1-3). In addition to hearing invaluable information from decorated industry professionals, there will also be giveaways and a surprise guest, followed by a meet-and-greet/signing session.
"Behind the Music of Blockbuster Video Games" will be held at the Kraken Theatre in Seattle on Saturday, September 1st from 10:30-11:30am. For more information on the panel, visit the official site.
