It's been rumored for quite sometime now that Ada Wong, a supporting character in the earlier Resident Evil games, would have her very own campaign in Resident Evil 6.
No longer rumors, Capcom has confirmed that Ada Wong will indeed be starring in a fourth, newly revealed campaign for the game. She joins the likes of Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and the son of Wesker, Jake Muller, to feature in her very own vignette.
The news that Ada Wong would be getting her own campaign was revealed by Capcom in a new Famitsu feature, which also disclosed a new game mode called Agent Hunt, in which one player takes on the role of a J'avo creature to stalk other human players. The mode is not unlike Dark Souls' multiplayer, which allowed players to invade the games of other players to harass or kill them.
Ada's campaign must be unlocked by first beating the three main campaigns. Unlike the others, Ada will be working alone and without a partner.
Resident Evil 6 will be out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 2.
