In news that's a little baffling but makes sense, Hiphop medial mogul Jay-Z is now being named as the executive producer on NBA 2K 13.
The NBA 2K sports franchise is, of course, 2K Sports' flagship game and is widely-regarded as one of the best sports sims to come out each year.
Here's a trailer showcasing how Jay-Z's name is being put on the cover and whatnot.
Now, the baffling part. We don't actually have news on what Jay-Z's involvement is! It's expected that his music will be used in the game itself but other than that, nothing else has been announced.
While that's a bit obscure, his actual name being tied in with the game isn't. Jay-Z is known to be a big basketball fan and is a part-owner of the Brooklyn Nets.
Hopefully, we'll know more about his involvement before NBA 2K13's release in October which has NBA superstars Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose as its cover athletes.
