A newly made mod for the original Assassin’s Creed aims to bring the game up to the visual quality of a modern day title.
Its creator Hecumarine has put together the visual overhaul for the first game in the series, featuring updated textures, better particle effects, and more.
It’s not the first iteration of the mod, which has been previously released. The latest 2016 version adds higher resolution textures that’s double what previous versions had.
Some of the textures within the mod come from Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, while others are completely new. The textures update the environment as well as the skins for the characters in the game.
