The Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox 360 hardware bundle has been confirmed and detailed by Microsoft, who let slip about the existence of the bundle at San Diego Comic-Con 2012.
Microsoft has elaborated that the bundle will be available on November 6, the day the game launches, and will go for $400, while supplies last.
The bundle is a hefty thing, including one 320GB hard drive, built-in Wi-Fi, two exclusive Halo-themed controllers, a wired headset, Xbox Live tokens for avatar marketplace and in-game downloadable content (armor skin, weapon skin, emblems, avatar armor and avatar props) and a standard edition copy of Halo 4. To top it all off, the console ring glows light blue and makes noises reminiscent of the game when turned on and when a disc is ejected.
The controller will also be released individually, going for $60 a pop. There's no confirmed date for its standalone release but rumor has it it will be available the day of the game's launch. Pre-orders for the bundle are open now.
