Destiny’s Halloween Event is Now Active, Adds Spooky New Changes

The Halloween event for Destiny, Festival of the Lost, has just gone live. Today, anyone playing the game can participate in a number of activities for the multiplayer title.

The first thing you’ll notice when you hit the social spaces like the new Felwinter Peak, introduced in the latest expansion, and the Tower, is that the whole place is now decked out with Halloween decorations. Crucible matches also take place at night, because it’s spooky at night. It’s pretty damn cool, especially if you’re used to the maps.

This time around, you can get a number of cool masks to deck out your  character with and upgrade some of your weapons with Halloween-themed ornaments that will remain long after the event ends.

The event is set to run from today until November 8th so be sure to get your goodies while they’re hot.
