Red Dead Redemption fans got a massive reveal this week with the announcement of its sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2. However, there are plenty of gamers out there who likely never had the chance to enjoy Red Dead Redemption and while most of us held out on a potential remaster of the video game, Sony has revealed that the popular title will soon be available on PlayStation Now.
Rockstar first released Red Dead Redemption for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 18, 2010. Overall the video game was a critical acclaim hit with gamers thoroughly enjoying the Grand Theft Auto vibe set in the old west. Players took on the role of John Marston, a once notorious outlaw who has since left his harsh past behind. After the government pressures him to hunt down his old gang, players will explore the vast open world in search of clues while helping a unique cast of characters in their need of help.
Now that Red Dead Redemption 2 has been unveiled, Sony has made a post on their official blog revealing they had made a partnership with Rockstar. With this partnership, it seems that we’re finally getting Red Dead Redemption on the PlayStation Now service, but it’s not stated just when the video game will officially launch onto the service. Nevertheless, we finally have some confirmation that the video game will finally be available on PlayStation 4 and technically the PC through the streaming service.
