If you grew up during the 1990s then you know just how big Pokemon was. From the animated television show, video games, toys, collectible cards, apparel, and more, there was simply no escaping the fandom. Today we’re finding out that the first movie for the franchise will once again hit the theaters for two days only, making this event fans will not want to miss out on.
Pokemon has always been a popular franchise over the years, but it’s certainly found resurgence this year thanks to its 20th anniversary and the release of Pokemon Go. Now with more and more gamers are looking back at the years of Pokemon, there’s a new event that will take viewers on a nostalgic trip.
The first Pokemon movie titled Pokemon: The First Movie, will once again hit the theaters with the Pikachu’s Vacation short to accompany the film just as it did over a decade ago. Unfortunately, the film will only be available for two days in select theaters.
This particular film introduced two new Pokemon into the franchise, Mew and MewTwo.
