With the announcement of the Assassin's Creed III Limited Edition comes a new trailer from Ubisoft, titled "Independence." The trailer celebrates the American Revolution and commemorates the 4th of July as thirteen American colonies proclaimed their independence from the British crown.
The trailer focuses on the plight of the revolutionaries and highlights the hidden roles Connor and the Assassins played during these events as they made their way behind enemy lines and fought against their oppressors.
Despite the trailer's clear sympathies to the American side during the War of Independence, Ubisoft has assured in the past that the Templar forces are not necessarily British, so Connor may have to make a few difficult decisions in his mission.
