Capcom announced today that Monster Hunter 4 will be coming out next year. The information about the game's release date comes from Capcom's Summer Jam event, which also showcased new footage of Resident Evil 3.
The trailer of Monster Hunter 4 presented at the event is also the first time the game has been shown to the public.
Set for a Spring 2013 release, Monster Hunter 4 will be exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. Although some fans may question why Capcom decided to go with the 3DS instead of the Vita or any current generation console—the reason for that is evident in the sales of the 3DS, which continues to top Japanese charts.
Personally, I care little about which platform it's being released on, so long as it gets an international release.
