Sky Player has been relaunched on the Xbox 360 and is now available to all Xbox 360 Gold subscribers in the UK and Ireland. The service was also launched late last month but due to technical problems it was taken off Live.
“As of Friday 6th November 2009, 100 per cent of the Xbox base can access Sky Player, and tens of thousands of new users are accessing the service daily,” Microsoft said in a statement.
“The quality of the service remains of the utmost importance to both Sky and Xbox, and as such we will run further testing over the weekend and continue to monitor the service closely. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
Sky Player on Xbox 360 allows Gold members to access a range of content to view live or on-demand, with the basic viewing package set at £15 per month for non-Sky TV subscribers.
