The indie studio folks over at Piranaking released their LASTFIGHT game to Steam back in May. It’s a fighting game where you pick from 10 different characters and have them battle on one of 8 different stages – in both singleplayer and local multiplayer varieties. The world is based off a comic book called LASTMAN, which will eventually become an animated series. But the development team wanted to make sure to spread the love to consoles too, leading to the launch of the ports for the title.
“Growing up playing games in the arcade, being able to make a game like the ones we love so much, has been a dream come true”, said Piranaking co-founder Fabien Arnaudo. “We’re so thrilled to be able to not only expand the game with four new modes for our players on Steam, but also to bring the game with all of the updates and improvements we have made to a whole new audience on PS4 and Xbox One.”
The updates and additions to LASTFIGHT add four more modes to the fun, and PC users won’t be left out of the action either. Free for All is a straight up deathmatch where every fighter must fend for themselves. There’s an offline Ranked mode that lets players square off against opponents to earn points. Endless mode challenges you to defeat as many enemies as you can with only one health. Finally, the Pinball mode changes the rules of attack to having pinballs be the only way you can defeat an opponent.
So if you want to check out LASTFIGHT – you can on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. To learn more about the game, check out the developer’s website, Twitter, and Facebook.
