Woven in a modern take on the classic game style of point and click adventure. You explore a seemingly safe knitted world, where stuffed animals live. As a player, you can customize your character by mixing different body parts to solve puzzles and ultimately confront the dangers that lurk beneath the soft surface.
In Woven, you play Stuffy, a clumsy, but kind, elephant-shaped stuffed animal, and Glitch, a mysterious metal firefly. Stuffy will face many obstacles where his heavy elephant feet or clumsy arms will be more of a hindrance than a help.
You can remedy this by finding blueprints of different animal types, scanning them in, and reknitting Stuffy into different shapes in order to solve the puzzles you are confronted with. Finding and combining the right blueprints is a major part of gameplay in Woven.
Definitely check out the game’s Kickstarter campaign and help them reach their goal! The devs had recently revealed some of the more intriguing, but darker and scarier undertones that the game alludes to as well. Also visit their Steam page where you can play and download the demo.
