Since the announcement of the PlayStation 4 Pro, which happened earlier this week and you can read the full rundown on the console through our post right here, gamers have been wondering just what upcoming titles will use the PlayStation 4 Pro’s extra power. One of the video games we can confirm that will be optimized for the PlayStation 4 Pro’s upcoming release is Titanfall 2.
News of Titanfall 2 being optimized for the PlayStation 4 Pro comes directly from Respawn Entertainment’s studio co-founder Vince Zampella. After being questioned on Twitter if the development team planned on making Titanfall 2 look as best as it can when the PlayStation 4 Pro releases, Vince Zampella answered back confirming the developers will be taking full advantage of the latest PlayStation 4 Pro hardware.
.@Wartac0 yes, we will be taking advantage of PS Pro for #Titanfall2

It’s not known quite yet what this means as there are some speculation going around for certain developers using base resolutions for both 1080p and 4K displays or if Respawn Entertainment has other ideas in mind.
Additionally, Titanfall 2 is already set to release before the PlayStation 4 Pro console launches into the market. As it stands right now Titanfall 2 will be releasing on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this October 28, 2016, while the PlayStation 4 Pro launches in November. We’re also interested in seeing if Respawn Entertainment will be making adjustments to the upcoming Microsoft Project Scorpio when it launches as the company has stated that their upcoming console will be the most powerful one within the market.
