Approximately one hour ago, Bethesda's Twitter account announced that invites have been sent out giving a select amount of gamers access to Dawnguard. If you've been waiting with bated breath for beta access to Skyrim's new expansion, you may die from oxygen deprivation.
Bethesda tweets that less than half a percent of the "overwhelming" number of applicants will receive invites. If you haven't received one tonight, Pete Hines, VP of Bethesda PR also mentioned that invite emails may still be sent out tomorrow. All "one in a million" talk aside, there's still a chance, albeit an incredibly small one, that you hopefuls out there may gain access.
To all you brave beta testers, go forward into Dawnguard and do what we cannot. Break the game. Break it over your non-arrowed knee. If the let down is just too much, take my approach next time. Just be far too lazy to sign up successfully avoiding the rejection.
