If you were a fan of the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel then you should be delighted to know that its sequel, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is now available. Unfortunately, the game is not releasing on the latest generation console, but if you still own a PlayStation 3 or Sony’s latest flagship handheld, the PlayStation Vita, then you’re in luck.
Announced through the PlayStation Blog, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II will take place exactly one month after the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel. Players will once again take a group of young soldiers set within a nation in peril of war.
The video game originally released back in 2014 within Japan, but through publishers XSEED Games, the title is finally making its way stateside today. Once again, the video game is currently only available for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita with no word of it heading towards Sony’s latest console, the PlayStation 4.
Likewise, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is currently in the works but does not have a release date attached to the video game. It’s unknown right now if the third installment will see a release outside of Japan.
