The PlayStation Plus "Instant Game Collection" was announced in an odd way last night. "They're coming to North America," we were told, and it was said in such a way that I couldn't help but feel sorry for the folks on the EU PlayStation Blog this morning and in the store heads-up this week. It turns out that it isn't going to be a problem though, with no less than 13 games to be offered for free through the Plus service from tomorrow (06/06).
From Infamous 2, Motorstorm Apocalypse and LittleBigPlanet 2 through to Virtua Fighter 5, Stranger's Wrath HD, Darksiders and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, Sony are offering a wide range of fantastic games through their service and I think it's fair to say it's never been a better time to be a Plus subscriber.
The full list of games will no doubt be unveiled tomorrow, but for now it probably isn't a bad idea to free up your schedule for the next couple of weeks. As part of the "Instant Game Collection," there will also be a PlayStation Game of the Month, which ShopTo reports will be the very best of what the PlayStation brand has to offer. The game will change every four weeks.
