Sony and Ubisoft have teamed up to announce the PS Vita exclusive title Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, which puts players in the shoes of a female Creole assassin. It'll be the first time in the series' history where you'll have the opportunity to play a female assassin.
The game is set in the city of New Orleans during the 18th century, with the players taking on the role of Aveline. Described as a woman of conviction, Aveline fights for freedom as the city of New Orleans is on the brink of a rebellion as the Spanish Empire imposes its new rule.
The Vita-only title is set for release in October and will be a part of a PlayStation Vita bundle with a 4gb memory card and a white Vita model.
Players who purchase the game will receive codes to unlock special equipment for Connor in Assassin's Creed III, which releases around the same time.
