Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt stole the year 2015 from every other game out there, really. It’s lasting influence from their initial debut carried on through both of the game’s expansions, and it’s about ready to complete the Game of the Year victory lap, starting tomorrow.
To mark the occasion, CD Projekt has a 1.3 patch that fixes some bugs that managed to weather it out this long since the game’s initial release. The Game of the Year edition includes all the patches and updates throughout the game’s lifespan, but it’s understandable in an endeavor of such massive size that there would be a few hiccups left over. In 1.3, gameplay bugs such as Roach’s tail disappearing are now fixed. Several items on the change log list deal with New Game +, making it a more properly scaled experience. The team has fixed issues with Steam controllers, and even went back and added Playstation controller prompt icons. The full changelog can be found at this PDF over yonder, so check it out.
