In what could either be the most annoying or best thing at Microsoft's E3 presser, Capcom has shown off a few minutes' worth of Resident Evil 6 gameplay.
If you absolutely do not want any part of the game spoiled for you, I suggest not watching further.
While I honestly am excited for this game, it wouldn't surprise me if survival-horror fans will scoff at what they see.The trailer stars Leon Kennedy as he infiltrates a building full of zombies. Needless to say, there's a lot of shooting, kicking and all sorts of action scenes that will remind people of Resident Evil 5.
Aside from melee attacks, there will also be new quick-time events when Leon is caught by a zombie. I'd gather this would be a challenge for the undead since Leon moves really fast compared to when we was last saw him.
The game doesn't seem to lack any set-pieces either; as just form the 5-minute trailer we saw, there's at least three instances where we're treated to "cinematic action."
Before I forget, the trailer also reveals that the game's initial DLC will be out for the Xbox 360 first.
Resident Evil 6 will be out later this year for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Do you agree where Capcom is taking the series or should they make it more horror and less action?
