The follow-up to Divinity: Original Sin by Larian Studios is just around the corner. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is set to debut in Early Access this September. Here’s a snazzy announcement trailer from the developers talking about it.
What does this Early Access Divinity: Original Sin 2 package have ready to go? Players will be able to duke it out in the PvP arena, and see the opening parts of the campaign for the game. Divinity: Original Sin 2 intends to have four-person multiplayer that’s capable of both “competitive and cooperative questing,” plus more advanced combat mechanics. This is possible due to the game being built on the Divinity Engine, helping to tailor this new experience. The story of the game will take you into the role of someone who’s capable of forbidden magic, and The Magisters of the Divine Order want to cure you of your “illness”. You’ll begin to realize that these apparently Holy figures are actually just as flawed and corrupt as everyone else.
You can jump in on Divinity: Original Sin 2 starting this September 15th for PC. To follow the game’s development, check out their website, Twitter, and Facebook. Below you’ll find screenshots aplenty.
