I admit, I'm a big Battlefield fan, so when a video of this popped online, I just had to share it with shooter fans.
While this is not an FPS montage showing a player snipe someone 2,000 miles away or a "L33T" player killing of 15 guys in succession, I'm quite sure FPS fans will appreciate it all the same.
The trailer, titled "One," is made by Robert Stoneman and takes place on Caspian Border. The group is playing Conquest on (presumably) PC. Understandably, this isn't a "real" match that's taking place, but rather one that's been staged to showcase what the video's all about.
You know what? I think I'll stop yapping and just let you watch it for yourself. So grab a drink, sit back and be amazed for 9 minutes.
Impressive stuff, am I right? Of course, some of the things shown in the video aren't possible to do in the game (bullet blowing up a tank?!), it's what people call "creative license" when making these things. In this case, I'd say it's warranted given what we just saw.
One thing that does stand out for me in the trailer though is how much Battlefield 3 really needs a Battlecorder. I'd presume things like these would be more common if the game had one.
Is this one of the most impressive Battlefield videos you've seen or what?
