After the Alpha and Closed Beta programs, EVERSPACE and the developers behind the game are ready to go for Early Access and Preview launch in September. If you haven’t seen the game’s beta, let ROCKFISH Games take you on a space spin.
“We are very excited to kick-off the Xbox Preview Program for Windows 10 with the highly anticipated roguelike space shooter EVERSPACE,” said Director ID@Xbox at Microsoft Chris Charla. “With its fast-paced gameplay and its stunning visuals it plays great on PC and Xbox One, making it a perfect game for Xbox Play Anywhere.”
To re-emphasize that point from earlier – if you want to see the game in action, I played it not only once, but twice. At different points in EVERSPACE‘s development. After the Early Access release, the game will later add two different player ships to pick out from by the end of the year. When the game comes out in early 2017, it will have a non-linear voice-acted story that adds emotional depth to the situational gameplay the player experiences.
“Almost exactly a year ago, we launched the Kickstarter campaign for EVERSPACE and it has been an incredible ride. Over 15,000 backers from all over the world supported us to be able to make our dream come true, and we couldn’t be more thankful and excited to finally release EVERSPACE on Steam Early Access, Xbox Preview Program and GOG Games in Development,” said CEO of ROCKFISH Games Michael Schade.
EVERSPACE is set to arrive on PC and Xbox One in Q1 2017. For updates throughout the Early Access portion of development, follow along on the team’s website, Twitter, and Facebook.
