In news that just made my day, Konami is now teasing for Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 2! The publisher has posted a new image on their Facebook page with the tag-line " The Dragon Returns on 5.31.2012," along with a web address for thedragonreturns.com
Of course, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that "Dracul" means "dragon" in Romanian, which is the nickname for the real "Dracula"(Vlad II Dracul) — which, in itself, was the basis for Dracula the vampire.
I won't bore you with the history lesson, needless to say, this is for Lords of Shadows 2! For more "proof," in the teaser site, the source code reads "CLOS Teaser Page." Now, count how many games Konami has in its stable that has CLOS in its name.
While a sequel was heavily hinted at due to the game's excellent ending, it was never officially confirmed by Konami. Well, at least now we only have to wait for May 31 for the official reveal.
