For those of you who really liked the Lucius game released back in 2012, there’s now a chance for you to revisit that experience in a different perspective. Shiver Games just launched a Lucius Demake title that shows the experience as if it was released back in the video game era of the 1980s. It’s easier to show you than tell you what I mean, so check out this trailer.
So what was Lucius all about? It was an open world game where you played the son of the Devil, and your mission was to kill the members of the Dante Manor household one by one. Equipped with a variety of powers from Satan, you orchestrated accidents in order to make it seem like a demonic influence had taken over the household. As the murders unfolded, it gets the attention of a private investigator who seems to be standing in the way of the Devil’s work. The Lucius Demake holds the same storyline and experience, but instead of a 3D open world it’s now a 2D set-up. Instead of thousands of colors and pixels, it’s shaved down to 16.
The Lucius Demake is available now on PC. For the latest updates from the developers, check out their website, Twitter, and Facebook.
