We already reported that Guillermo Del Toro's horror game inSane has not been cancelled earlier in the day. Well, we have more good news for you!
THQ's Executive VP of Core Games Danny Bilson has also confirmed that two known but unnnamed projects are also stil in production. The two studios working on new projects for THQ are: Turtle Rock Studios (Left 4 Dead creators) and Patrice Desilets' (Assassin's Creed 's former creative director) yet-to-be-revealed project.
Bilson confirmed that both games have not been cancelled and are moving forward. He states that Turtle Rock's game is "in production," while Desilets' game is "well into preproduction."
Not playing devil's advocate here but even if they're not cancelled, can THQ guarantee that they'll see the light of day what with their current financial woes? One more thing to consider is that this console generation's cycle might just be coming to an end and they still haven't announced any concrete info regarding these projects — unless they're developing them for next-gen, no?
Hopefully, THQ can stay afloat long enough for both games to come out and net them some pretty coin.
