April Fools seems an awful long way away, but I suppose if you want to pretend this didn't happen, this list-fodder of the future, then now is the time to start making excuses. This is a Jubilee special edition Xbox 360 to help gamers celebrate 60 years of Queen Elizabeth II. Basically what it boils down to is a Union Jack Kinect set, but it's so, so ugly.
For £250 you can join in the celebrations (which I hope start to get a little bit better than this). Available only from Walmart subsidiary ASDA, you'll be able to buy the set on May 25th. The pack comes with a Kinect, a 360, a pad and these unique Union Jack skins. You'll also get Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports and a short 3 month subscription to Gold.
Something inside of me hopes one of these has been sent to the palace and the Queen, gawd bless 'er, is creating an avatar right now.
