As fire falls from the sky, Diablo III's servers have finally come online to the explosion of excitement and elation all over Twitter (and gaming forums everywhere).
If you haven't yet preloaded the game, you still have 15 hours to do so. But for those of you who already went through the phase of getting the game ready to install, you can now launch the installer and have Diablo III up and ready to play before it goes online at midnight PST.
The game's launcher features a new cover of the timeless Tristram theme song and regales us with a story—by Deckard Cain—about events past, setting the mood for Diablo III as we enter it for the very first time.
