Republique Casts David Hayter and Jennifer Hale

Contrary to popular belief, games journalists want to like games more often than not. This is why critical previews are difficult to come by and why accusations of bribery are commonly laughed off; most glowing reviews are genuine.

The editorial side of the industry has done its part to support Ryan Payton's Republique. There's been new features and interviews about the game almost every day for week's now.

Now he's calling in favors.

Camouflaj has announced their first outing will feature the voice talents of David Hayter and Jennifer Hale. Both are famous for their roles in the Metal Gear Solid series ( playing Solid Snake and Naomi Harris, respectively) which Payton played an instrumental role in at one point. Hayter also has a solid screenwriting career (He wrote the first X-Men film) and Hale has become an icon for her portrayal of Mass Effect's Commander Shepard.
