If there is one video game that could potentially sway gamers from spending their free time hunting Pokemon in the latest app release, Pokemon Go, it very well could easily be No Man’s Sky. This is a highly anticipated indie video game from developers Hello Games and today a new trailer has been released that focuses primarily on the game’s combat aspect.
There’s been plenty of teasers and gameplay shown off for the upcoming release of No Man’s Sky. Gamers are promised quintillions of planets to search, name, and record for the title atlas. However, the main overall goal of the title seems to pin players in a task of reaching the certain of No Man’s Sky’s galaxy.
Besides the searching, trading with other players, identifying new planets and life, there will be plenty of combat. Today we got a taste of the game’s combat mechanics in both outer space and on land.
According to the description posted within the YouTube video upload, Hello Games confirms that players will have a multi-tool to fight off deadly predator creatures while in space, there is a slew of different weapons that can be equipped in dogfights to large galaxy space battles.
You can get your hands on a copy of No Man’s Sky when it launches starting on August 9, 2016, for the PlayStation 4 and PC platform. For now, take a look at the latest combat trailer posted above and a game gallery down below.
